About Michelle

With over 20 years of experience in public accounting, I have worked at leading firms such as EY, KPMG, and Andersen, specializing in tax compliance and planning for closely held businesses, partnerships, corporations (S-corps & C-corps), and high-net-worth individuals. My expertise spans real estate, financial services, private client services, and commercial tax sectors.

Previously, I served as an Internal Revenue Agent in the Large Business & International (LB&I) division of the IRS, where I conducted complex tax examinations, compliance reviews, and audits for large partnerships. This experience gave me deeper insight into taxation, including partnership taxation, IRS procedures, and regulatory compliance.
Beyond public accounting, I have worked in corporate tax roles as a tax consultant at Hulu and Lucky Brand, assisting complex tax projects, multi-state filings, and M&A-related tax matters.
I hold a CPA license in California and earned a Master’s in Business Taxation (MBT) from the University of Southern California and a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis of Accounting) from California State University, East Bay.
In addition to my career in tax and accounting, I pursued my passion for service by earning a Master’s in Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary and served as a youth pastor and volunteer church treasurer in Los Angeles.
